Leaked pictures from White dwarf 396 have apeared on the internet. The biggest surpires is the source of the leak they’ve been published on…. whitedwarf daily on Gamesworkshop.com

There are picture of

  • Keith Robertson’s Ogre Kingdoms army
  • Ork Fighter conversion
  • Wolf Guard Terminators and Ork Nobs having a who’s the hardest fight.

There is no mention of the issue being double sized or any bigger than normal for that matter. Gamesworkshop policy prevents me from linking to their site, so you will have to copy and paste the URL yourself sorry 🙁

Rumours: Darks angels confirmed for January

A bit of tidying up and omnibus Dark Angels stuff today boys and gals.

First up Dark Angels Scheduling:

– Dark Angels devoted White Dwarf for January
– Miniatures go up for pre-order end of December and are available very early January. ~So save up some of your holiday money!

Rules–wise we hear the following:

-Sammael still rides the Imperium’s only functioning jetbike.
-Larger sized Tactical Squads have been reported ~perhaps the 1st Chapter is still holding onto some of the “old Legion ways”??? 
-Standard “Green Dark Angels” are well represented with 8 unit choices across the codex.  It won’t be all Deathwing and Ravenwing.

Today’s Question: Where can’t you place objectives?

Question: Where can’t you place objectives.

Answer: Everyone knows they can’t be within 6″ of the edge of the battle field or 12″ of another objectives.

What people sometimes forget. They can’t be placed on or in impassable terrain, buildings or fortifications.

One point of debate is placing them in ruins. Strictly speaking ruins are not buildings so this is permissible. However before you place one on the top floor of a tall ruin, it a good idea to agree this with your opponent.

 

Sixth edition is no longer new, so I’m going to refrain from spamming up the site with questions everyone know the answer to. The Daily question will not become an occasional item, when I come across something they people may not have spotted in the rules or frequently get confused about.
