Birmingham UK Games workshop Manager Brett Low has left the bunker!

Eighteen year veteran store manager Brett Low had his last day at GamesWorkshop on Saturday 12th Jan 2013. With only two years remaining till his 20 years long service Leather Jacket. Brett has decided to head for the Gray Havens of house work and Xbox.

Brett has seen Birmingham Games workshop move from it’s old location in the bull ring to it’s current location at the top of corporation street. Brett was also manager when the store was broken into and later had the stolen good returned by this thieves who has believed the shop to be a computer games store. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/looters-return-stuff-to-games-workshop-201108124191

The old Birmingham Games Workshop in the Bull ring

When asked why he was leaving now he simple replied when it’s your time to go it’s your time to go. Brett will be sorely missed by some, myself included. Famous for his very loud Waaaggghhh and very long hair.

What he will miss most about the Games Workshop – the lovely people who come through the store.

What he would miss the least – the people who are always complaining. He thinks if you don’t like the models or prices then you shouldn’t buy them!

His parting words “I’m going out for a while”

We wish Brett all the best and hope he can achieve a shine on that kichen counter no one can complete with and also an all time high score on Halo 4. If you have experience of Managing a Games Workshop and want to take on a Staff Store you can apply to take over as Birmingham Manager on Gamesworshop.com

Bret Low (right) worked at Games Workshop 1995 to 2012 – We salute you.

Brett Anderson – not to be confused with Birmingham’s Brett Low because of the long hair.
