GW motion for Chapterhouse studios to pay legal costs of $225k

The motions for final judgements have been raised by both Games Workshop and Chapterhouse Studios.

Games Workshop have requested that Chapterhouse Studios pay a further $225,000 in legal costs. Citing GW’s own victory on the majority of claims; which they did voluntarily not drop. GW have not appealed the verdict.

Chapter house have countered than GW should pick up their own legal costs, as GW did not win the majority of claims raised at the start of trial. Chapterhouse have not appealed the $25k fine.

This document contains the motions for final judgements and a list of the juries findings, listing the claims witch were and were not granted.

Apocalypse Release Product List – July 2013 White Dwarf

The release information for the July White Dwarf has now been issued to resellers.

Games Workshop have given some products Apocalyptic price tags. I’ve provided a price comparison, mostly in Space Marine units to enable collectors in other countries estimate what products will cost in their currency. The Gamer’s and collector edition have pushed the price envelope once more. The only think I can find with a similar price tag is the relm of battle Game Board.

Note the Baneblade is being re-boxed with all the storm hammer turrets included, but with an 18% price increase. If you have been thinking about picking one of the Imperial Guard super heavies up it’s worth trying to find one at the old price.

More Space Marines pictures leak from the July White Dwarf

A new Masters of the Chapter style box set has been confirmed for Space Marine players, as part of the July Apocalypse release.

The set contains 4x finecast Space Marine Captains

5th Company – Battle Company Captain, armed with scroll, staff and pistol, wearing MkIV armour
6th Company – Tactical Reserve Company Captain, armed with septor and pistol, wearing MkVII armour
8th Company – Assault Reserve Company Captain, armed with battle axe, wearing MkVII armour
9th Company – Devastator Reserve Company Captain, armed with combi plasma, wearing MkV armour.

Each of the Captains is posed as if ordering troops. I imagine we will see a lot of conversion work based on these models.

It’s nice to see some more head tilts to the old power armour suits.

ChapterMasters is not able to post pictures from White Dwarf before it’s release. The other main 40k websites are posting links to them.

Forge World are bringing out the big guns

It’s been a little while since we have advertised any Forge World releases. There have been a couple of notable products lunches in the last couple of weeks.

LEGION GLAIVE

First off we have Forge World bringing out the big guns. The Legion Glaive  “a variant of the Fellblade. Armed with a Volkite Carronade” Forge World have done a great paint job on this one.

FULGRIM PRIMARCH OF THE EMPEROR’S CHILDREN

Simon Egan has done an amazing job of bringing the Black Library Artwork to life. Just like Angron three more space marines are featured on the base of this model and is priced at £55.

Online sales of Games Workshop products are disappearing, slowly.

Wargame Store in the UK explain some of the changes. How long will it be before there is an outright ban of resellers who advertise online?
