Hands down this was the best display at Games Day last year. I’m very excited to see if this year’s display can live up to the same standard. There is lest than one week until Warhammer Fest. It looks like tickets will be avaible on the door. So why not try to convince you friends to hand over £20. There will only be one Warhammer Fest 2014.

The Emperors Children are Coming – Legion Palatine Blades Squad

There is about to be a significant change at Chapter Masters. Ben has recently started painting some Pre Heresy Emperors Children. So expect to see the lots of pictures over the coming months. Are Specialist Games Returning?

It’s nice to see Games workshop haven’t abandoned Specialist games with the recent release of Space Hulk. I hope those of you that wanted 1 got up early on release day and grabbed yourself one as they sold out online within minutes of being on pre order!

Hopefully though with this release it will mean that we see a return of games such as Man O war (later known as Dread fleet, Warhammer quest, Warmaster Battlefleet Gothic or Epic.

Many Gamers still play some of these games as Jon witnessed at Warhammer world just the other weekend when he saw a game of epic being played below. although i don’t remember what that cylindrical object with amber liquid in was in epic.

Uriel Ventris leads his 4th Company command Squad against an unseen foe. This command squad is made from Forge World MkIV space marines equipped with Melta Guns. A Heresy Legion MkIV medic has been used along with the MKIV Forge World command set.

I bet you didn’t see that Wargh coming? Today we have a display of some black Orks at Warhammer World. If you follow this site you’ll already know the miniature hall is currently closed. Hopefully you’ll be able to visit Warhammer World next year when the works have been completed and the miniature hall has once again opened it’s doors. My quarterly l trip to Warhanmer World is a real treat.

I’m sure they will start charging and stop me taking photo’s one day. I do my best to only post pictures of the displays that are no longer available, so I don’t damage the visitor numbers. The photo’s I take are not even close to a substitute for visiting in person. Soaking up the miniatures in person is a experience that can’t be described with words alone.
