Dark Eldar

This pictures is unfortunately just as clear as the rumours about 6th, 6.5th or 7th edition of 40k, which will be out on the 24th or 31st of May and will or won’t have army lists governed by percentages or force organisation charts or both. It will also have an Eldar vs Astro Milatarum Imperial Guard or Blood Angel vs Ork box set. It may also contain the rules but not the missions from escalation.
Regardless of the fog of war surrounding the next 40k rule book this Dark Eldar Army looks quite nice to those who understand it.

A Contemptor Dreadnought stumbles backwards to his impending doom!

Falling over down a cliff top from a savage physic attack from This Eldar Farseer in this entry from Gamesday 2013 Golden Deamon.

This must have taken some serious pinning to allow for the Dreagnought to lean at such an acute angle backwards which is most likely one of the reasons it go so far in the judging process as seen by the red and green dots on the slip.

Black Piranha down

This Entry from Games day 2013 Golden Deamon from the open catergory depicts a sole survivor of a downed Tau Piranha being rescued by a mixed squad of Kroot carnivores and some tau Fire warriors, supported by a very well converted Shadow sun model. The diorama is entitled “Black Piranha down” from what I assume is a play on the film “Black hawk down” I must say though the Piranha doesn’t look very black and I don’t see any Somalians shooting at the Tau. Joking aside though it must have taken some doing to achieve such a nicely converted and painted diorama.

What to do when faced with a close combat, army equipped with power armour, bring a devastator company.
Ben Jackson has built this Devastator Company by using a mix of Space Marines from the Ultramarines 3rd, 4th Companies and old rogue trader Space Marines. Currently the majority of squads have only 3 heavy weapons. Ben is intending to add more Devastator Squads to his Ultramarine army so he can field a full strength Devastator Company.
