Jon’s Phantom Titan has featured in a previous battle report on ChapterMasters.
In that game it wreaked havoc while sustaining very little damage itself.
I thought it was about time the Phantom was given it’s own post.
This is a picture Gareth took on the Tau Research Station before the game began.
Jon had tried in vain to hand paint the cracks on the base, until his wife came up with a very cunning plan of using a marker pen to create the cracks.
The final effect clearly shows how the ground crumbles under the shear weight of this Eldar monstrosity.

Wraith Blades from Golden Demon
This is an Entry from Games days 2013 Golden Demon from the Warhammer 40,000 squad catergory.. Wraithblades from what looks like the Biel tan craftworld (please correct me if i’m wrong.) Striding over what looks like fallen monuments. The Wraith blade box set has replaced the very static old Metal/finecast Wraithguard which Eldar players must have felt rather frustrated and bored with. The new kit certainly allows for some very nice poses as seen here.
Are there any models in your army that you feel needs some much over due attention from Games Workshop?

How tall is the Forge World Avatar?
It seems everyone is interested in how tall models are at the moment. One of the photo’s floating around the internet shows an Imperial Knight next to an Eldar Avatar. Here we have the same model against a Chaos Warhound Titan. This should provide some idea on how tall the Imperial Knight is against a Warhound.
Phantom Titan Battle Part 3 and 4
Fog of war has started to take stead now. These are scattered accounts from remembrances for this hard fought battle.
After the conflict had begun the combined forces of the Ultramarines and Tau tried to bring their fire power on the Eldar. However the Eldar proved evasive to taking heavy casualties. Interference from the Eldar delayed the arrival of air support. As a result lots of Ultramarines and Tau died, including most of the heavy support and the Ultramarines commanding Librarian, leaving the allied forces with no real hope of destroying the source of the Phantom shaped silhouette above the field of battle.
The Phantom Titan battle part 2
Just a few more pictures from the battle I had against a Phantom Titan and a few token Eldar. Phil Kelly came to admire the Titan and observed how we didn’t stand a chance of killing it. I totally agreed with him, but pointed out the battle was not a for gone conclusion.
Let’s watch the little blue men evaporate as they shoot at big holograms!
